Amphiprion ocellaris – The Super Storm Clownfish is a striking captive bred variant bred by Proaquatix and now available through Biota. The Super Storm comes from Darwin ocellaris and the Black Gladiator (DaVinci) clownfish brood line. This fish features an orange body with white bars and mask that are so thick and exaggerated it makes the fish appear mostly white.

Super Storms arrive tankready and free from wildcapture stress. They have been conditioned on high quality pellets and flakes, and readily accept frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, ocean plankton, and brine shrimp. Their captivebred origins make them hardier and more adaptable than wildcaught specimens, allowing them to settle in quickly and thrive under standard reef conditions.

Like all clownfish, Super Storms exhibit a clear social hierarchy. In a group or pair, the largest fish becomes the female while the next largest becomes male. This species is reef safe and compatible with most other reef safe fish. Their natural host anemones areH. magnifica, S. gigantea, and S. mertensii, but they often adopt Bubble Tip Anemones, rockwork, coral, or algae as substitutes for host anemones.
