Remarks:The Sunburst Snow White Fryeri is a truly stunning fish with the males displaying platinum bodies accented by vibrant orange hues in their fins. Occasionally, the bodies of males might also show some of this orange hue among their white, metallic scales. Females can be anywhere from the typical gray of female African cichlids, but some can also have a pale orange coloration.

These are a hybrid man made strain and there may be slight color differences in some of the males. In nature the Sciaenochromis fryeri are found throughout the lake in rocky habitats and feed on small mbuna and other small aquatic animals. In captivity, they will take a wide variety of both prepared and frozen foods but care should be taken when housing them with smaller cichlids due to their natural diet.
