The smallest sized cubeaquarium tank offered by Ultum Nature Systems was used as a canvas for a tiny but highly impactful and fully functional Iwagumi Style Aquascape layout. A few pieces of Icelandic Lava Stone hardscape material were strategically chosen to fit the small blueprint while remaining within the means of what a standard Iwagumi style aquascape layout calls for. The porous nature of Icelandic Lava Stone provides the perfect surface for attaching aquatic plant species such as aquatic mosses, Anubias and Bucephalandra. We’d also recommend choosing a single aquatic foreground plant such as Micranthemum Monte Carlo. The 16C by Ultum Nature Systems allows for another foreground aquatic plant such as Eleocharis Parvulus Mini to be used as accents around the base of the Icelandic Lava Stone to complete the look. The micro size of the entire aquarium tank makes it perfect for any space such as a desk, nightstand, console table and more.
