Flame Tetra
The Flame tetra is one of the most colorful tetra species displaying bright orange/yellow. This fish is a great beginner tetra due to its wide adaptability of water parameters. Originally found in South America the species was very popular in the aquarium hobby only to become almost rare. This fish has rebounded in popularity and has become a staple in many aquariums.

TheFlame Tetra can reach sizes of about 2 inches. They are pretty peaceful and can be housed with a variety of community fish. Although, we would not recommend keeping them with shrimp. They prefer small live foods so baby shrimp would become an easy target.
