Native to Southeastern USA Ludwigia Brevipes can be found growing in boggy conditions. Commonly misidentified as Ludwigia Arcuata due to similar submersed forms, these two species are easily distinguished when grown in their emersed forms via their flowers. For optimal conditions, Ludwigia Brevipes should be provided with high lighting, CO2 injection and nutrients. Like most Ludwigia species, Brevipes makes a great choice for lovely texture and contrast in the mid to background areas of planted aquariums.
Propagation is easy. Simply cut the stems and replant into quality substrate.
