Named for its conspicuous toe pads that fan out when walking and gripping things, these cuties grace us with their presence from Northern Africa. They do just fine in 12x12x18 enclosures but active ones will definitely appreciate 18x18x24″. They have high tolerance to difference climate ranges but do best in moderately arid climates with strategically placed humid hides.
