Attractive and popular dwarf cichlids, Bolivian Rams are peaceful fish suitable for most community aquariums. Growing up to 8cm, these need to be kept an aquarium at least 60cm long and will tolerate a pH level of anywhere between 6.0 and 7.5. Bright lighting, lots of plants and a dull coloured substrate is appreciated most by this species. Keep with other peaceful fish such as Tetra’s, Guppy’s or Gourami’s and feed a mix of flakes, pellets, and frozen tropical foods.
