Begonia microsperma x staudtii is one of ourpersonal favorites, but recent discoveries indicate this is not a true hybrid of said parent plants most likely, and has been renamed Begonia U690 (09/07/21). It is a moderate growing species of Begonia. It is prized amongst collectors forthe bullate texture on itssaucer-like leaves. It is amazing for terrariums due to itscompact size.It does well in moderate, indirect light and moderate to high humidity, but appreciates airflow. Moist soil and sphagnum moss are helpful for rooting this species. It is somewhat slow to root compared to many other Begonia.

All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment.
