Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.

Echinodorus Devils Eye is on the newer spectrum of Amazon Sword Plant species. Considered to be on the small to medium side for Echinodorus, Echinodorus Devils Eye is a suitable sword plant choice for medium planted aquariums. Newer leaves are a smooth green color with rather noticeable 5 viens that are bright red in color older leaves display a more subdued vien color and the leaves will eventually develop a brownish outline. This is a great Echinodorus who are looking to add a slightly more unique plant with interesting features to a planted aquarium tank.

Echinodorus Devils Eye is easy to grow both submerged and emerged with its emerged form displaying harder, coarse-textured green leaves. Echinodorus easy care makes it a great choice for beginner hobbyists and typically works great in Wabi Kusa setups as well. Like all aquatic sword species, Echinodorus Devils Eye is easy to keep, fairly hardy and needs a minimum of a nutrient-rich aquarium substrate as these species of aquatic plant are heavy root feeders. Aside from this, Echinodorus species are fairly tolerable of varying water parameters and lighting conditions. Propagation is simple. Separate and replant.
