Cryptocoryne Thwaitesii ‘Kirindoya Brown’ is a slow-growing aquatic plant that features textured, olive-brown tones and slightly ruffled leaves. Like other species in the same family, Cryptocoryne plants are fairly undemanding and don’t require special care to grow properly. They are most commonly used as a midground aquarium plant in aquascapes due to their moderate size and low profile growth.
When given the correct care, it will form dense tufts of foliage that will add a lovely touch to any planted aquarium. With all plants, we recommend using a quality aquarium LED light, CO2 injection and nutrient dense aquasoil to yield the best results. If your soil is low in nutrients, consider adding an all-purpose liquid fertilizer to support improved color and form. To propagate, simply cut off new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome.
