Paleatus Cory
The Paleatus Cory is one of our favorite Corydoras species. The Paleatus Cory is commonly called the Peppered Cory or Salt and Pepper Cory. They show their best behavior while shoaling in groups of 2 or more fish. The Pepper Cory is extremely peaceful making it a great addition to any community tank and even most shrimp tanks. They reach a max size of around 2.5 inches.

Paleatus Corieshave a great peppered coloration that is sure to standout on any light colored substrate. Corydoras species prefer a sand substrate as they enjoy scavenging for food. It is also less abrasive to their barbels making sand the best long term substrate solution for the Corydoras family.
We feed ourPaleatusCorys a large variety of foods which include finely ground Northfin flake foods, small Northfin pellets (veggie, community, & bug pro), frozen foods and occasionally blackworms.
